Is Vedalaya free to use?+

Yes. You can read every shloka and bhajan page and begin several guided lessons for free, with no ads. The full course library and downloads are available inside the app.

Do I need to know Sanskrit?+

Not at all. Every verse carries Devanagari, romanised transliteration (IAST), a plain-English translation, and a short meaning, so beginners can follow along from day one.

How are the courses taught?+

Through slow, medium and full-tempo recitation audio, short videos, and word-by-word meaning — taught by traditional teachers, at your own pace.

Is there a mobile app?+

Yes, Vedalaya is available on Android, and everything also works in your mobile browser.

Can children use Vedalaya?+

Absolutely. The interface is simple and calm, and family profiles let up to five members learn on their own profiles.

Can I use Vedalaya on multiple devices?+

Yes. Your account and progress sync across the Android app and mobile web, so you can practice wherever you are.
